Another Holiday Survived

OK, so we technically haven't survived the New Years just yet, but with the big D-25 out of the way it feels like we managed to scrap our way through another year with our sanity more or less in tact.  The kids made out great, I got way too many movies and books, and my wife got a power saw!  (Yes, I'm frightened....)  We still have some returns to deal with (one of my DS' big gifts, in particular, needs to be exchanged for something that doesn't require rebar and concrete), and since the ol' XBOX 360 has been shipped off to the geniuses at Microsoft for some repairs, there are a couple of gifts that we can't use just yet, but overall the family made out just fine, we've all had a good time...and my God, I think I've eaten as much food in the past month as I had through the entire first three fiscal quarters of 2008 combined.  ;)
